Two Rivers High School
Two Rivers, Wisconsin

Three Two Rivers players have been named to the 2004-05 Eastern Wisconsin Conference first team. They include senior Jessy Fabian, junior Sam Beyer and sophomore Diana Taddy.

It was the second time in school history that three players from Two Rivers were named to the first team. In 1995, Shanna Miller, Angie Gates and Kristen Steckmesser were first team honorees and Steckmesser was player of the year.

Beyer was named the 2004-05 player of the year.

Don Koeser, in his first year as head coach of the Lady Raiders, was named Coach of the Year.

Two Rivers won its 14th Eastern Wisconsin Conference basketball championship and its 11th with an undefeated record this year. Picked to finish third in the pre-season polls, the Lady Raiders went 14-0, winning by two games over runnerup Plymouth.

During the season, Two Rivers recorded its 500th career victory when they defeated Roncalli on Dec. 16. Two Rivers first season of basketball was 1974-75. They began the 2004-05 season with a 494-152 career record.

Don Koeser has been named to succeed Bill Wood as girls basketball coach at Two Rivers High School.

Koeser, who was the Silver Lake College women's coach for the last 12 years, takes over a program that is considered one of the best in Northeastern Wisconsin. Koeser also coached at Manitowoc High School from 1985-1988
